The future of the Internet and alternative media — and their importance for creating sustainable communities — is the subject of this 12-minute interview with Wally Bowen, media activist and founder of the Asheville-based nonprofit Mountain Area Information Network (MAIN). MAIN is the parent organization of WPVM and led the effort to create public access TV in Asheville and Buncombe County.

The pilot series of the Green Radio Bistro is now airing on URTV, Charter Cable channel 20 in Buncombe County, on Tuesdays at 9:00 PM and at other varied times throughout the weekly broadcast schedule. It is also airing on WPVM Mondays at 4:00 PM and Wednesdays at 1:00 PM.
