We need help with our Listener Support Fund Drives!
Our on-air listener fund drives are one of the key sources of support to keep WPVM operating. Our fund drives to date have been very successful, and critical to the station.

We’ll need help to make future fund drives as successful. If you are interested in helping out or even leading the effort, email us at volunteer@wpvm.org.

Volunteering for the fund drive is an easy and important way to help support WPVM!

Fundraising
We are forming a Fundraising Event Production Team:

Opportunities exist to support the WPVM in the creation, preproduction, promotion, scheduling, and production of exciting events like dances, concerts, community fairs and your unique ideas. Are you experienced in promoting events and love WPVM? If so here is a great place for you to show that support. If you have dreamed of being a promoter or producer this is a great place to learn. We are forming a grant writing team:

Now that we have our studio constructed and are launching new live programs it is time to seek grants for expanding the WPVM signal, supporting the station operations and programming. If you have experience in grant writing for community organizations we need your help and expertise. If you want to learn to be a successful grant writer and are willing to do lots of research and legwork we can help each other. Interested? Then click here to fill out our volunteer application.

Technical
We need engineers, techies, or DJs familiar with audio recording software (ProTools, Cool Edit), automation software, and/or MP3 ripping software to help train volunteers and assist with shows.We also need experienced web designers and programmers willing to assist with web site architecture and implementation of a content management system. DJs/Programming/New Shows
If you desire to have a program or be a DJ, you must fill out a Program Application and send us a 15-minute recording of a sample “demonstration” show to be considered. The “demo” doesn’t need to be totally professional, but should give our reviewers a good idea of what your show would be like, and reveal that you have the basic skills to pull it off. See detailed guidance on the Application form here on our website. You may email your application to programming-at-wpvm.org, or drop off a copy per instructions in the Application form.

Keep in mind that we have not determined what will be required of our on-air volunteers in terms of other duties, service to the station, etc. In fact, there is still a lot yet to be determined, so please be patient. And we welcome your help!
